Garden

 Time in my garden acts as a contrast to the studio work. Days spent at the easel working with detail are balanced with time in the garden. A lifetime of painting is matched by a life of gardening. On leaving school, I trained as nurseryman and then as a landscape designer. So pottering on the land I plant and create, with the seasons. The colours and textures are ever changing, offering daily inspiration.
